Air Bandit Filtered Bandana material is engineered using our patent pending Nanofiber technology and is highly efficient (up to 95%) on sub-micron particles. The Air Bandit-Filtered Bandana is already in use with more than 70 Public Works Departments throughout California and Nevada. We have thousands of units in use within the fire services throughout the US and Canada and our product is endorsed by the Fire Fighter Cancer Foundation. The Air Bandit Filtered Bandana addresses the real need for respiratory protection within the industrial construction and fire services sector where respiratory ailments and health problems are commonplace. One of the main reasons that workers choose to not wear any respiratory protection, unless required, is quite simply due to the limited choices and lack of comfort. In most cases many workers will have access to traditional disposable dust masks, some use bandanas and others will just pull up their T shirt above their nose. Traditional dust masks were designed for “single use” and meant to be disposed of after each use. Dust masks are uncomfortable to wear for any length of time and most workers would rather wear nothing at all than strap on a traditional disposable dust mask. The Air Bandit-Filtered Bandana form fits to the wearers face contouring precisely around their nose and cheekbones to minimize any gaps.
